STILL YOUNG – 15 Years of Killerpilze
Facts
Synopsis
“Still young – 15 years of Killerpilze” shows the rise, fall, and resurrection of Germany’s youngest teen band: After the success as a “BRAVO-teenie-band” and the unexpected exit from the Major Record Company, the band threatened to fall into public insignificance. “Still young” accompanies the band on a bumpy road back to the big world’s stages with the goal of becoming “Germany’s biggest rock band.”
Narrated by (ex-)band members, family, management, many prominent musicians (including Klaas Heufer-Umlauf, Jennifer Rostock, Felix Brummer [Kraftklub], Michael ‘Curse’ Kurth and many more) and filled with unpublished archive material from the first band rehearsal in 2002 to the release of the successful album “High” (2016), the film offers a relentless look behind the scenes of the German music landscape of the 00s.
